Brad Rourke’s Vibram FiveFingers KSO Video Review

by barefootie on September 13, 2009

Brad Rourke has posted a video review on his recently purchased Vibram FiveFingers shoes. From the video it looks like he has a pair of Vibram FiveFingers KSO shoes.

Some of his comments from the video review are:

  • They are very comfortable shoes
  • He uses them multiple times a week for weight lifting and cardio
  • Thinks the shoes are great for activities that require agility (moving side to side) since the foot stays attached to the sole of the shoe
  • They are conversation starters (many people approach him and ask about his shoes)
  • He likes how the shoes are breathable, washable, and anti-microbial (don’t smell)
  • He likes wearing the FiveFingers with Injinji Socks
  • The first time you wear them is a little comfortable since they are tight
  • Takes about 15 minutes to get used to
  • FiveFingers not good for people who have feet where one foot is significantly larger than the other or one toe is much longer than the rest (ie non-normal foot)
  • Loves using them
  • Hasn’t started running in them since it changes the way you run, but is going to start
