Why Sockwa Shoes?
Sockwa footwear has perfected the technology of producing ultra-thin soles. Paired with uppers that are stretchable and form fitting, the results are barefoot shoes that allow people the benefits of barefoot walking and the added protection of shoes.
Sockwa is proud of its braided 2mm thick neoprene soles that are intended for a wide range of surfaces. To address the concerns of durability, Sockwa has launched its thin rubber outsole skin and a venting system suitable even for professional athletes.
Dr. William Rossi in a 1999 article in Podiatry Management said it best with regards to going barefoot :
It took 4 million years to develop our unique human foot and our consequent distinctive form of walk, a remarkable feat of bioengineering. Yet, in only a few thousand years, and with one carelessly designed instrument, our shoes, we have warped the pure anatomical form of human walk, obstructing its engineering efficiency, afflicting it with strains and stresses and denying it its natural grace of form and ease of movement head to foot.
In reality, you could not really replicate the experience of walking barefoot even with the slimmest barefoot shoes. But wearing Sockwa footwear is the closest that you could get because these are more like reinforced socks! You couldn’t get any closer to the ground than that.
For all its good features and benefits, Sockwa shoes are also easy on the pocket.

I really like the way the sockwa looks, have a question though.I am allergic to latex, would these be safe for me or do they have latex in them? Thanks so much for the info.
WHERE DO THEY SELL THIS?
You can buy these online. Even better you can buy these from our website
which Sockwa would be good for yoga? The Sockwa Dojo? I recently had foot surgery and am a practiced yogi, but haven’t been able to enjoy yoga for 3 months. I am cleared by my dr. to begin again!! I feel using a Sockwa, or another other suggestion you might have, would help me with grip and stability as I get back into yoga. If not the Sockwa, what other product(s) would be useful to try?
Thanks
for yoga inparticularly, the dojo’s are good as well as some of the vibram fivefingers like the “mocs”
im interested in distributing your sockwa brand here in the hilippines
I have tried the vibram, and they just dont fit right no matter what size i get. The toe just doesnt fit in correctly. I like the terra plana i bought the aqua’s very nice shoes in feel and over all. I want to look into these sockwa or the soft stars for spare shoe to try. Which shoes is better i guess the sockwa or soft stars? I love the terra plana but would ike somthing more flexible.
