Not for me. I am a natural forefoot striker, always have been... numerous people always tried to "correct" my running stride. Then the barefoot revolution and the research-- I was vindicated! So I thought I'd try the Vibram KSOs... simply not for me. I am fairly certain it is not a sizing issue, as I tried 36, 37, and 38 (the in-store sizing "chart"-- the floppy foot thing) sized me as a 37, and that's what felt like the best fit and that's what I bought. I was more than a little frustrated at the amount of time I had to spend getting my toes in properly. Oh well, I thought-- small price to pay for what is boasted to be so beneficial for your feet and I could actually run "barefoot" over terrain!?! Well, they felt fine when I wore them around the neighborhood and running errands. Next day I went on a short (1.75 mile) jog around the neighborhood-- lots of pressure on the outer edge of both of my big toes, but I thought okay, maybe they need an adjustment period. Two days later, big toes fully "recovered," I took them out for a 3.5 mile run-- ugh! LOTS of pressure on the same outer edges of both big toes, and to boot, ONE misstep created a "run" in the fabric on the upper toe area! These are NOT counterfeits-- bought them from a local reputable authorized dealer! I was left with near-blister tender spots on both big toes-- now I have to check on the return policy. Great idea, but I just think these are not meant for forefoot strikers (maybe midfoot or those who are very used to heel striking) or for out-and-about wear, but not real running. I generally run 5-6 miles daily, but there is no way I would do that distance in these. Minimal cushioning, yea, light construction, yea, but separating your toes-- nay. I will be looking into Nike Free or other similarly-constructed shoes instead.

Pretty comfortable. I use these for hiking even though people said they don't work well for those.. I found them to be pretty effective for my level of hiking.
