Barefoot Running Reduces Knee Stress

A new study published by researchers from Deakin University demonstrated that running barefoot alleviates chronic knee pain by reducing knee stress. This adds to the growing body of research on knee impact. This study, conducted on 22 runners who were tested on multiple measures while running, found that those who ran barefoot benefited on average from a 12% reduction in stress to the knee. More reason to run barefoot 🙂
