Running has been made easier through the innovation of lightweight shoes such as the Saucony Barefoot Running Shoes. It’s the new fad to remain stylish while keeping one’s self active and healthy. More and more sports enthusiasts see it as the next best investment in their market.
Saucony’s ProGrid Kinvara Men‘s shoes is a performance trainer made for the true minimalist. Hailed as Best Debut by Runner’s World in 2010 and the Outside Gear of the Year for 2011 by Gear Junkie, the ProGrid Kinvara is a neutral running shoe that is quite light and flexible, it feels as though you are barely wearing anything at all. Weighing at 7.7 ounces, Kinvara is only an ounce heavier than most racers.
Kinvara’s sole is what sets it apart from most neutral trainers. The difference between the heel’s thickness compared to the forefoot’s thickness is only 4mm. This means wearing these minimalist shoes not only brings your feet closer to the ground, but it also stimulates you to strike the ground with your midfoot/forefoot.
Like most of the other Saucony shoes, Kinvara has a ProGrid insert which is found in the heel while its outsole is made up of the highly durable XT-900 carbon rubber compound. Moreover, if you take a closer look at the outsole, you will notice that rubber has been strategically placed across it. This does not only minimize the weight of the shoes and provide you with great traction across many surfaces, it also increases your trainer’s life span. The Kinvara’s upper is a combination of lightweight mesh, heel memory foam and midfoot indo-skeleton that all work together to give you a secure and lightweight comfortable fit.
Enjoy running in these incredible performance trainers in eight attractive colors!

GET THIS SHOE
I got this shoe a while ago, thinking that it was attractive to the eye in the bright orange color… i walked through school with it and was happy with all the comments i got with them. Then the best part was actually running in them. It is like having slippers attached to your feet while running… Literally i could not feel the rocks under my feet. I hope they will last as i have no idea as to the durability….But i am extremely suprised with what saucony does as i am a first time user of their shoes… I will be making a switch immediatly to their training shoes after this pair, THEY ARE JUST TOOOOOOOO GOOD
So pleased I’ve bought two pairs.
Great tread with good breath ability. Didn’t tear too much until after a couple of months. Feel light as a feather! The sole doesn’t loose effectiveness for many miles and are a great shoe for any level of runner who desires a natural feel.
Great minimalist trainer
This is a good minimilist shoe that has a sole that lasts relatively longer than most, I don’t know about the upper though. When I bought these I went on a 15-mile run, It took about 4 miles for me to get used to these, which Isn’t bad. The upper is one piece and pretty thin (durability?), but it breathes well. The shoe is pretty light, which you can probably feel after a longer run. The heel has a great feel, they labeled it hydrator.
