We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. BarefootRunningShoes.org will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 60 days of the shipment date. Merchandise must be returned in its original, unused condition, including all original tags. All packages must be returned prepaid; we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

For an RGA#, email: support@barefootrunningshoes.org and explain what the issue is.  We will email you once we set up an RGA number for you.

Sockwa Frequently Asked Questions

What is Sockwa?
Sockwa is a shoe so comfortable you’d swear it was a sock.  Sockwa is the best alternative to barefoot.

Do Sockwas generally run large or small?
Sockwas, especially Amphibians run a little small, they are form-fitting shoes that are supposed to snug tight like a sock. For sizing information about Amphibians, check out our Amphibian sizing chart.

Are there mens and womens sizes? I’m not sure which one to order.
Currently Sockwa’s come in Women sizes 6, 7, 8 and Men sizes 9, 10, 11.  We will be increasing our size offering in the Spring 2011.

If I am between sizes, should I order up or down?
If you are between two sizes we suggest ordering the larger size.

Do you have to break Sockwas in?
Sockwa Playa and Dojo don’t need to be broken in.
Amphibians require 1-2 hours of wear before they stretch out and mold to your feet.

What is the difference between the Sockwa Playa and Sockwa Beach?
The first generation Sockwa were called Sockwa Beach.  The 2010 generation is now called Sockwa Playa.
