This model is ideal for activities such as running, bouldering and indoor fitness trainings. The women’s version of the model is also the updated look of the Vibrams classic design, with the same benefits of the wool material in terms of the material’s reaction to changes in the weather. Finding the Right Size Vibram FiveFingers
It’s important when ordering the Vibram FiveFingers Classic that you get the right size shoe. Vibram uses the European shoe size system so you will need to measure your foot and use this conversion chart to find the right size for you.

Vibram FiveFingers recommends the following procedure for accurately measuring your feet:
- Stand with your heels flush against a flat vertical wall.
- Slide a ruler under each foot and measure the distance from the wall to the tip of the longest toe.
- Take the longer of the two foot measurements.
- If the the foot length varies more than 1/6 in. it will be difficult to get a precise fit for both feet.
- If your your second toe is more than 1/6 in. longer than your big toe it may be difficult to get a precise fit

I just purchased the new Bakila LS and the Jaya LR. The Jaya Lr look good but the feel of the heel rubbing has me concerned. They do not feel as comfortable as I had hoped. Its also a bit larger. In my size it said to have a 40 in these shoes and a 39 in the Bikila, but I think I should have stuck with a 39 in the Jayas also. Much looser fit and rub. Maybe a smaller fit would get rid of the rubbing, im not sure.
NOW, about the Bikila LS, WOW. Absolutely love them. I started barefoot running and love it, but when i do hit rocks, ouch.. So I had to get some shoes as closest to barefoot as I could. These are EXACTLY what I was hoping for. I was worried about the sizing, but they came out perfect. Im a 9.5 and in that shoe I ordered a 39, just what their sizing chart said, and its snug and perfect. I really dont want to take them off, its wonderful.
I do recommend these shoes and look forward to trying different styles by Vibram as well. Thanks for the best running shoes I have ever owned.
