Vibram FiveFingers recommends the following procedure for accurately measuring your feet:
- Stand with your heels flush against a flat vertical wall.
- Slide a ruler under each foot and measure the distance from the wall to the tip of the longest toe.
- Take the longer of the two foot measurements.
- If the the foot length varies more than 1/6 in. it will be difficult to get a precise fit for both feet.
- If your your second toe is more than 1/6 in. longer than your big toe it may be difficult to get a precise fit

These shoes are lovely, just lovely! I first bought these shoes because I am a big fan of the KSO shoes which I thought were not only comfortable but was very useful in strengthening my calves and foot. The shoes are take some time getting used to at first but after you really get used to it is great. I sometimes do need a break from these shoes so I can let my feet heal a bit but other than that i usually wear them even casually out. I think barefoot running is the best option but it is not always the most reasonable way to run. |

I wear athletic orthodics, would I be able to use them in these 5 toes sneakers?
@Ros, Unless you have custom orthotics I don’t think they will fit in the FiveFingers Speed.
