Video: Watch FiveFingers Handle Water, Rocks, Concrete and More

In this video, Andrew goes on a run with his Vibram Five Fingers shoes with the camera focusing on the shoes while they run through concrete, rocks, water, dirt and more.  It’s an interesting look at the Vibram Five Fingers KSO shoes in action.  Some other tips and information that were mentioned in the video:

Work up slowly to heavy usage when first purchasing the Vibram Five Fingers shoes

This is important unless you want to be sore for the next week and limp around.  I experienced that myself.  I would suggest wearing it out on casual walks for a couple days for a couple hours at a time and see how you feel.  After you get used to it, then go on short jogs or runs (maximum 2 miles).  After your soreness wears out, you’re really to slowly increase your mileage.

Be ready to gain attention

A common experience many have when wearing the Vibram Five Fingers is the attention that you get from these shoes. Good or bad, be prepared to answer the same questions about your shoes.  Maybe you can even pick up chicks in these things!
