Terra Plana’s latest and hottest shoes are the VivoBarefoot. These shoes, with choices of classic, modern styled and colorful designed patterns, these shoes boast not only great fashion sense, but comfort. Their ecologically friendly and non generic production of the shoes also make them a favorite of the “green” and eco-friendly movement. Their “barefoot” title comes from the ultra thin yet durable protective sole that the shoe’s have.
One of our personally favorites are the Vivo Barefoot Root shoes. The adjustable strap allows for more flexibility in sizing as well as adding an extra flavor and style to the shoe. The color scheme’s are unique and definitely stand out as great casual barefoot walking shoes.

|I Love Rocking Them!|
I initially heard about Terra Plana’s Vivo Barefoot shoes when reading about the other barefoot style shoes. Although the Vibram Five Fingers really appealed to me, I couldn’t get myself to buy a pair because of the style of the shoe. I am a light jogger and have been plagued with feet and legs injuries and pain these couple of years and I read about the benefits of barefoot running. After more research of all types of “barefoot styled” shoes, a Google search landed me on Terra Plana’s website and I fell in love with the variety of styles that they had.
After about a week in them I was completely sold 0n their brand. Not only because of the variety of styles but also the fact that they were comfortable as hell. The thun soles really do make me feel like i’m walking barefoot and make the shoe extremely light. I’m going to try as many pairs of these shoes as I can reasonable afford. I Love Rocking Them!
|Awesome Gear for Light Atheletics.|
My background is that I am a sprinter and 10K runner. I’m a big fan of the Nike Free’s and I still do sprints in my New Balance Shoes. I guess I just love trying all types of shoes and seeing how my body fits and reacts to the shoe. So when I saw the Vivo Barefoot shoes I had to try them. I can definitely say they are my favorite walking shoes for short hikes and casual city walks. I really enjoy the lightness of the shoe as well as the fact that there isn’t an inch and a half of padding between your feet and the ground.
They are a bit more pricey then the shoe’s I’m used to but despite the thin soles, they definitely last awhile which is great. While I don’t consider myself a “tree hugger”, I do appreciate the fact that the company represents a positive trend in being responsible when it comes to the environment. Overall I’d say the shoe is comfortable, durable and while i wouldn’t use it for 100 meter sprints, they are awesome gear for light athletics.
