Product Description

Terra Plana’s latest and hottest shoes are the Vivo Barefoot. With choices of classic, modern styled and colorful designed patterns, these shoes boast not only great fashion sense, but comfort as well. Their ecologically friendly and non generic production makes them a favorite of the “green” and eco-friendly movement. Their “barefoot” title comes from the ultra thin yet durable protective sole that the shoes have.

The Vivo Barefoot Womad womens shoe may look like a simple laced up booty, but what makes the Womad more special is the fact that it’s powered by Vivo Barefoot technology…meaning unlike other shoes these shoes are thin and flexible enough to let you feel the ground that you walk on.

Vivo Barefoot Womad Review

Great Minimalist Shoes

I’m a big fan of the minimalist  shoes.  I think they are great and the fact that your foot isn’t bulked up all around helps.  The problem is the shoes sometimes crunch up the area where my toes are.  I’ve had this problem with the Nike Free and some other random brands I’ve tried.  The Vivo Barefoot Womads worked for me.  The minimalist style with little support actually felt comfortable to me which was rare.  I’m not sure why it’s so hard to find a pair like these.  I’ve heard of people having issues with Vivo Barefoot sizing but they should definitely try a couple of sizes out before buying.

Sizing Issues

I bought a couple pairs of the Vivo Barefoot and like some other people complained about the shoes were a bit too large for me.  I was a bit annoyed but they had a GREAT 2 way return policy which made it easy to purchase many types of shoes and try them on to see which one fits.  Not everybody has the patience for this because we live in a society where we can’t wait weeks to just try something but I think for shoes it’s very important, afterall you will be wearign them almost everyday potentially.

Anyway, my rule of thumb for the Vivo Barefoot is to try the regular size but also try a size smaller or even possibly 2.  It really depends on the fit you want but I found that a size smaller for some of the shoes like this Womad worked out well. Just order a 2-3 pairs and try them then return the ones that did not fit.  Don’t get too excited about shoes and rush into it, patience pays off!
